Infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus have a poorer prognosis when the infecting strain is Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) additionally MRSA strains are important for their resistance to many other commonly used antibiotics. The objectives of this study were to estimate the prevalence of MRSA strains in clinical specimens and to investigate their sensitivity pattern.
