For each selected value of pyrolysis temperature, three levels of residence time for pyrolysis process were set as 0, 60 and 120 minutes, respectively. Some properties of the final product from the pyrolysis process volatile, ash content, fixed-carbon and higher heating value (HHV) were measured. The experimental results have shown that in the current range of experimental work, charcoal products could get the highest fixed-carbon content at the pyrolysis temperature of 6000C and with the residence time of 120 minutes. |
