School age period is a critical period of growth and development. In this period the activities, diet and nutrition of children influence their physical and cognitive development. The present study aimed to assess the nutritional status of school going children of 7-9 years old children on the basis of their food habits. The study was conducted among the government primary schools of rural areas of Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. The data was collected by the pre-design oral questionnaires. |
