INTRODUCTION RATIONALE OF THIS THESIS Periodontitis is a common disease of the Odontostomatology. The disease occurs in all ages and countries all over the world accounted for a high proportion in the community and of a social nature. In the USA research by Walter et al showed that the rate of periodontitis in the community is 25-41 . In Vietnam according to the 2001 National Oral Health Survey the percentage of people with gingivitis and periodontitis up to 90 of which the rate of people with periodontitis at the age of 35- 44 is at the age of 45 and over is .
