LGG can occur anywhere within the central nervous system and the most common location is within the posterior fossa aroud 20-25 other common locations are brainsterm or midline location optic pathway suprasella tectal thelamic primary spinal location is rare described at around 5 . Intraspinal and intracranial LGG share the same histologic features and have similar biologic behavior. PLGGs are associated with an excellent long term survival treatment strategies should therefore arm for disease control during childhood and adolescence with an emphasis on minimizing long term tumor itself and treatment induced morbidity. Three cases of progressive intraspinal LGG and their responses to chemotherapy are report here and a review of the literature.
