Agriculture has been identified as one of the key sectors in Vietnam’s economy, also a big earner of foreign currencies for the country. With many bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements that Vietnam has signed going to take effect in the near future, more opportunities are awaiting Vietnamese enterprises. However, in addition to opportunities, there have been numerous challenges, of which the most serious one is the more stringent technical barriers that overseas markets are imposing on imported agricultural products. |
