To overcome the shortage of large-grained natural sand in traffic projects in the Mekong Delta region mixed sand made by mixing fine sand with crushed sand is being used as an alternative. Crushed sand and fine sand have properties that are different from natural sands such as grain shape rough surface texture and high friction which affect the physical properties of the mixed sand in particular increase pore structure increased surface area and increased water absorption these factors directly affect the shrinkage of concrete. In this paper the author presents the shrinkage deformation of concrete using mixed sand. The ratio of crushed sand fine sand is selected respectively as 50 50 60 40 70 30. The three methods of curing concrete are as standard sealed and curing free respectively. Experimental results show that concrete using mixed sand has a higher shrinkage value than concrete using natural sand and the ratio of crushed sand fine sand increases the shrinkage increases.
