Study on several quality traits and ecological factors of Khau cam xang variety in Con Cuong district Nghe An province Hoang i Hue Vu Van Đoan La Tuan Nghia Abstract e study aimed to evaluate the current production status value some quality traits and ecological factors of Khau cam xang variety in Con Cuong district Nghe An province for building geographical instruction. e results showed that Khau cam xang grain has a high production value compared to other rice types the selling price is double compared to ordinary nonsticky rice and times as to local sticky rice. Despite being the sticky rice Khau cam xang has an extended grain quality elongated grain shape and purple color the content of valuable nutrients anthocyanin omega protein ber vitamin B1 is higher than that of many other rice varieties. e quality of Khau Cam Xang grain is very sensitive to the ecological conditions of the production area especially the iron and zinc content in the rice cultivated in Con Cuong is more than 2 times higher than that of the rice cultivated in Hoai Duc district Hanoi city. According to this research and analysis it was concluded that ecological factors such as geographical location climate temperature and soil a ect the grain quality of Con Cuong Khau cam xang.
