An object lying on a mirror reflects itself upside down. Sketch a brick lying on a mirror extend the sides straight down the same distance as the height of the brick. The ends of these lines are the upper corners of the brick reflected in the mirror. Lines between these points form the reflections of the upper edges of the brick. It can be seen that the reflection is upside down. When the reflection is completed we find that it has the same vanishing points as the object itself. .
