There are subjective and objective factors that influence the effectiveness of speech therapy. Methods Describe retrospective study on 157 children with hearing loss from 18 months-10 years old received speech therapy at Audiology amp Speech language therapy Unit Otorhinolaryngology department Vietnam National Children s hospital. Results Discovering subjective factors hearing loss adding other diseases hypoplasticnerve and objective factors distance economy family s attitude power of hearing devices affect the ability to auditory memory language development quality of speech. Conclusion Trying to find some solutions to overcome these limitations and then improve quality of speech auditory memory and language development cause many patients are able to go to mainstream school.
