For acute diseases requiring the use of antibiotics absolute adherence not only helps to increase the effectiveness of treatment but also helps to reduce the risk of self-drug resistance and the development of resistance to bacteria. Currently there are many patients with chronic otitis media that recur many times due to non-compli- ance with treatment affecting hearing and greatly affecting the patient s quality of life. With patient-centered healthcare and increased assessment of patient improvement the promotion of treatment adherence will be of greater interest. We recommend many practical strategies to improve adherence such as educating patients providing treatment plans shortening the inter- val between visits simplifying treatment regimens using Strategies for memorization. The goal of medical staff is to help patients improve their health optimally so it is necessary to address issues related to treatment adherence. Keywords Otitis media treatment adherence.
