Methods A cross-sectional descriptive study was performed on 36 nurses from the Oncology center - Thai Binh General Hospital. Using a toolkit to assess nurses knowledge about the care of patients with a nasogastric tube. Results Nursing knowledge at the substandard level is reaching level is . The practice of caring for patients in the first 24 hours after surgery was achieved at a rate of 50 The substandard rate is 50 . The practice of taking care of patients from 24 hours until discharge from the nursing home was achieved at a rate of the substandard rate is . Conclusions Relevant knowledge and practice of nurses about the care of patients with gastrostomy educational qualifications related to nursing practice.
