Method Intervention study without control group from January 2021 to June 2021 at Vietnam National Cancer Hospital. Results Our study showed that 100 of esophageal cancer patients had malnutrition following PG- SGA 46 2 of patients was at risk of severe malnutrition. The prevalence of patients who suffered severe malnutrition decreased from 46 2 before intervention to 26 9 after intervention the point of PG-SGA decreased from 14 3 4 2 before intervention to 13 4 4 6 after intervention . Regarding the patient s quality of life the improvement of functional aspects and symptoms after 1 month of intervention was unclear. Conclusion After intervention the proportion of patients who had severe malnutrition decreasesed so it is necessary to improve nutritional status for esophageal cancer patients and other cancer patients.
