Students often confuse intensity with lone but when you realize that a color can be light and bright like a lemon or light and dull like yellow beach sand you ll refrain from making this mistake. The final characteristic to analyze about a subject s color is its hue. This is the subtlety of the color. To illustrate a flesh color that is orange in color light in tone medium bright in intensity can be reddish in hue or more yellowish in hue. The hue of a color also describes its temperature.
