A data mapping is a metadata record used to generate or retrieve a routine that maps columns from one or more data sources into one or more data tables detail tables OLAP tables or OLAP MDDBs. Common mappings include one-to-one one data source to a target table joins one or more data sources merged by one or more common columns and unions two or more data sources appended to a target table . Here is one way to add a data mapping process in SAS Warehouse Administrator 1 In the Explorer select a detail table or a data table with the right mouse button. 2 Select Process from the pop-up menu. 3 In the Process Editor select the table with the right mouse button. 4 Select Add Inputs 5 Enter the mapping information. Properties The following table lists all of the properties for WHPRCMAP and indicates how you can use each property with metadata API methods. In the table you can specify properties with a Yes in the Indirect Add column when you indirectly add one object through another as described in the documentation for the _UPDATE_METADATA_ method.
