Purpose Target With the boiling test the homogeneity of the powder coating is checked. 2. Description of the procedure Testing sets Pot with cover Ratser for the sheet metals Execution In the cooking pot destillated Water for cooking heats up. The sheet metals are put into the boiling water and left there for 2 hours. During this time the water must be kept at cooking and ensured that the sheet metals are always covered with water. After the 2 hours of cooking time the sheet metals are taken from the water dried and judged. Analysis The surface is judged after boiling. Release guidelines The surface mustn t have vesicles and compared to an untreated comparison sheet metal no substantial discoloration.
