All rights reserved. a Temporary Tablespace The database administrator has the option of creating a temporary tablespace. A temporary tablespace can only be used for sort segments and cannot contain any permanent objects. Existing tablespaces can be altered so that they become temporary as long as they do not have any permanent objects in them.
