The minimum number of words you are required to write is 150. You are not asked to give opinions make assumptions or draw conclusions about the information given. The information may be presented to you in a number of ways for instance as a graph a bar or pie chart a table of information a diagram of the stages of a process or procedure a sequence of events a picture of an object showing how it works. There might be a combination of graphs tables and charts and you may be asked to compare the information given. Sometimes however even when the question does not specifically ask you to compare information you will probably find it is necessary to do so as in Task 1 of Writing Test One .
