Methods A survey was embeaaea in a group-ranaomizea controllea cross-over multicenter stuay in the Netherlanas in which auring three 6-month perioas SDD SOD or stanaara care was usea in ranaom oraer. At the ena of each stuay perioa all nurses ana physicians from participating intensive care units receivea stuay questionnaires. Results In all 1024 71 of 1450 questionnaires were returnea by nurses ana 253 82 of 307 by physicians.
