In most cases the system will be supplied by a single manufacturer as there is no way to pick and choose the best of what each has to offer and build the system from scratch. On the plus side much of the selection process is simplified as a result of this. This chapter presents some of the considerations for selecting the correct system for a given application. Obviously there is no way to cover every possible situation so only general guidelines can be presented.
