The term life skills-based education is often used almost interchangeably with skills- based health education. The difference between the two approaches lies only in the content or topics that are covered. Skills-based health education focuses on “health. ” Life skills-based education may focus on peace education, human rights, citizenship education, and other social issues as well as health.
