In fact, discrimination by gender is likely to diminish the efficiency and impact of projects. It is essential therefore to analyse the potential impact of an intervention on men, women and other groups (eg. children, ethnic minorities, social groups) before important decisions are made on the intervention, its objectives, strategies and resource allocation
