Batch grown cells showed significantly different pyrograms and the stationary phase cells could be clearly distinguished from exponential phase cells. Mass pyrograms of carbon, phosphate and magnesium limited cells were clearly different and, for carbon and phosphate limitation, clear trends were seen with different dilution rates. Changes in pH and temperature had no systematic effect on mass pyrograms. Key Words: Rhodococcus ruber, PyMS, Environmental conditions, Continuous culture Farkl› Ortam fiartlar›nda Yetifltirilen Rhodococcus ruber’in Pirolizis Kütle Spektrometri (PyMS) ile Analizi Özet : Kapal› kültür ortam›nda (kesikli sistem), farkl› büyüme evrelerinde yetiflen, Rhodococcus ruber’in saf hücre örnekleri ile aç›k kültür ortam›nda (kesiksiz sistem), karbon, fosfat ve magnezyum limitlenmesi yap›larak yetiflen hücre örnekleri, pirolizis kütle spektrometrisi (PyMS) ile analiz edilmifltir. Kapal› kültür ortam›nda yetiflen hücreler farkl› piyrogramlar göstermifl ve durgun fazdaki hücrelerin, logaritmik fazdaki hücrelerden aç›k bir flekilde ayr›ld›¤› belirlenmifltir. Karbon, fosfat ve magnezyum limitlenmesi yap›lan hücrelerin kütle piyrogramlar› belirgin bir flekilde farkl›d›r ve farkl› oranlardaki besi yeri ak›fl h›z›na ba¤l› olarak karbon ve fosfat limitlenmesi yap›lan .
