In the present study adsorption-desorption behaviour of penoxsulam on six different Indian soils at different temperatures (15, 25 and 35⁰C) and varied ionic strengths ( and ) was investigated to evaluate the effect of penoxsulam adsorption and desorption in varied soils. An increase in temperature decreased the adsorption but increased desorption of the herbicide in soils whereas on increasing the ionic strength adsorption increased effectively and desorption decreased from soils. | Effect of temperature and ionic strength on adsorption - Desorption behaviour of penoxsulam on six soils
