Melamine is a versatile organic compound that has several industrial applications. This industrial chemical is widely used to produce polymer by reaction with formaldehyde. It is employed in manufacture of plastic, laminates, wares, floors and table tops, paints, adhesives, permanent-press fabrics, moulded furniture, foams and mattresses.
