A study was conducted to know the ratio of giblets on live weight and carcass weight basis of various indigenous chicken breeds. The nutritional value of giblets was also assessed to use a source of nutrition in value added products. Birds of six weeks each of Cobb-400, Vanraja, Aseel, Kadaknath breed reared under deep litter system were sacrificed using halal slaughter procedure. Giblets were collected and processed as per standard procedure. Each and every measurement was taken using digital measurement twice for every reading.
