Combining ability analysis was done in Line X Tester mating design by using 7 lines, 3 testers and 21 F1‟s in a randomized block design with two replications during 2013-14 in sowing under water stress and non-stress environments. The analysis of genetic components revealed that both additive as well as non-additive components were prevalent for the control of grain yield and its components under both water stress and non-stress environments except spike length in under stress environment. |
