The impact of climate change had recently increased natural disasters and environmental incidents. In this context, integrated coastal zone management (ICZM) towards sustainable development has become urgent requirement [2, 3]. However, to replicate efficiency in practice, ICZM in Vietnam has overcome many difficulties and challenges, from awareness to reality. Based on the SWOT analysis method (Strengths - Weaknesses - Opportunities - Threats), this article presents some basic issues on ICZM in Vietnam, some major advantages and challenges that we have to face. |
