The Georgian (Sakartvelo) species of Centrodora Forster, 1878 (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae) have been collected from the Lagodekhi Protected Areas and three species (C. salicis, C. ochrura, C. dorsati) are recorded for the first time from Georgia and the Caucasus. The family Aphelinidae (Chalcidoidea) represents an interesting family currently including 33 genera and 1168 species placed in 7 subfamilies (Noyes, 2016). Members of the Aphelinidae are parasitoids of Hemiptera, Orthoptera, Hymenoptera, Diptera, and Lepidoptera. |
