Thái Nguyên, một trong các tỉnh thuộc vùng Đông bắc Việt Nam có nguồn tài nguyên nước phong phú và giá trị đối với sự phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của tỉnh. In Vietnam Thai Nguyen Province is considered the 3rd largest human resource training center of the country. With abundant water resources the water in this province is a valuable resource as a basis for socio-economic development and people s life in the province. In recent years Thai Nguyen has many guidelines and measures to promote effective economic development. The rapid economic development with the transition of many industries the process of urbanization and rapid population growth have made the increasing demand for water use and waste water discharge leading to the degradation of water environment and quite serious water pollution. The content of this article provides the survey results assessment of the current state of exploitation use and water quality in order to propose solutions to manage and protect the water environment of the province.
