In the present work, triacylglycerol and fatty acid compositions of Impatiens balsamina L. and Impatiens walleriana . seed oils were determined using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography with both refractive index and spectrophotometric detections. The presence of conjugated octadecatetraenoic moieties was confirmed by UV and IR spectroscopy. Triacylglycerol (TAG) compositions were performed using an incremental approach and confirmed by the results of MS and electronic spectra. |
