In this paper we will present a method of assessing wind resources in a small area equivalent to the size Wind Resources of a wind power plant. The selected area to build the model is the hilly Wind Power Plant part of Ninh Phuoc district Ninh Thuan province. The Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD method in Ansys CFX software and Blender GIS CFD Method data will be used to accurately model the topography of the area and Ansys CFX Software conduct wind flow analyzes in this area. The results obtained are the Blender GIS Data values of the wind velocity with respect to the height in the entire three- dimensional space of the model especially at characteristic locations such as valleys mountain slopes and peaks. Based on the obtained results we can accurately determine the distribution of wind speed at each specific location and from there can determine the best locations to install wind turbine towers.
