Research Methods Cross-sectional study combined with quantitative research methods using self-completed questionnaires. Time The study was conducted from August 2020 to May 2021 at the Pediatric Department of Vinh Phuc General Hospital. Results Among 392 mothers the overall correct practice rate was . 100 of mothers wash their hands many times a day for their children especially after changing diapers and using the toilet. Over 80 of mothers wash their hands before taking care of their babies. Sources of information have a positive relationship leading to mothers have better knowledge and practice of disease prevention. Conclusion The practice of mothers on HFMD prevention is quite high. Factors related to HFMD prevention practice as a source of information received by mothers. Recommendation Strengthening communication to mothers about CTM disease prevention through channels emphasizing mass communication channels. Keywords Hand-foot-and-mouth disease knowledge practice.
