The aim of study "Ba Lat delta evolution in response to changing fluvial sediment supply by the Red river, Vietnam" is to (i) estimate the amount of sediment discharge via the Ba Lat mouth, (ii) quantify changes in the active Ba Lat delta, including the delta-front shoreline, deltaic land area and (iii) explore the statistical relationship between these changes and the river sediment loads before and after all the large damreservoir operations upstream of the Red River system. |
