With people from so many different specialties in the room I was surprised to find out how much we have in common. With our two soccer-loving daughters it looks like you and I have many afternoons in the bleachers ahead of us As promised I m enclosing my resumed for your review. Your after-school child care program is of great interest to me. As I told you I really believe the time has come for me to make a change. When fifth graders have to go through a weapons check before coming to class the tension in the classroom has exceeded my comfort level. My twenty years of teaching experience in grades K-12 should be appropriate for the position you mentioned. My volunteer work setting up a nursery at the local YMCA involved a similar age group and environment as your program. And of course I am raising a young daughter of that age myself. It would be such a delight to work with children in a safe wholesome atmosphere.
