Many different measures for making car-sharing more attractive can be undertaken, although some of these are of only marginal importance or are not very applicable to conditions today. To achieve a rapid and stable expansion of car-sharing, it is important to identify the major hindrances involved, to deal with these effectively, and to take advantage of factors conducive to success.
