India is blessed with excellent natural resources like, soil, water and climatic conditions. Climate change is a significant variation in weather patterns occurring over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. Climate change impacts on agriculture are being witnessed all over the world, but countries like India are more vulnerable in view of the huge population dependence on agriculture, excessive pressure on natural resources and poor coping mechanisms.
