Mix thoroughly. Some orotic acid will remain undissolved. Adjust pH to 7.9 using NaH2PO4. Distribute into tubes or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure-121 C. Mix thoroughly to dissolve orotic acid. Pour into sterile Petri dishes or leave in tubes. Use For the cultivation and maintenance of Clostridium Zymobacterium oroticum.
