Research results showed that Vietnam has about 928 enterprises operating in the fields of the environmental industry attracting about Environmental industry 82 406 human resources. Notably the number of non-state enterprises Wastewater accounts for the majority. Vietnam s environmental industry only meets Solid waste 5 of the total demand for urban and industrial wastewater treatment about 15 of solid waste treatment needs and 14 of hazardous waste Hazardous waste treatment needs. The average growth rate is over 20 year. The main Urban wastewater treatment reason would be the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises is still limited. To promote the development of Vietnam s environmental industry businesses need to improve their ability to provide quality products and services at competitive prices there should be close assignment and coordination among relevant ministries and branches.
