This paper Electrical Substation presents the application method of the Vbox IoT device to build a SCADA system for an electrical substation. An experimental model was HMI built using the Wecon Vbox IoT device IED Intelligent Electronic IED Devices devices and a SCADA interface software for the Tien Du RTU 110KV substation. This combined hardware and software model tests monitoring parameters and controls electrical equipment within the substation. The test results show that this system can monitor the operating parameters of the substation remotely control on off electrical equipment in the substation.
