In the Central region the rice variety BDR999 had a growth duration TGST of 90 - 106 days. e net yield NSTT was from to tons ha increasing from to compared to the control KDdb. In the South-Central region the rice variety BĐR999 had a growth duration of 90-106 days. e yield was from - quintals ha increased from to compared to the control variety KDđb. In the Central Highlands the variety BĐR999 had a growth duration of 93 - 119 days. e yield was from to quintals ha increased from to compared to the control variety KD18. Under controlled testing for pests and diseases BĐR999 was responded to leaf blast from resistant to moderately resistant equivalent to disease scores of 3 to 5 moderately infected to bacterial blight equivalent to score 5 anh brown planthopper. e rice variety BĐR999 had a higher percentage of hulled rice milled rice and milled head rice compared to the control variety in which the percentage of milled head rice was from to and higher than the control variety by to respectively.
