Due to the close proximity of nerves and vascular structures to the elbow joint these fractures are often complicated by neurovascular injury. The incidence of vascular complications has been reported as between 3 and 20 inappropriate assessment and treatment can lead to compartment syndrome amputation and Volkmann s contracture. Although the indications for exploration of the cubital fossa in the case of a pulseless cool white hand are clear the management of patients with a pulseless but otherwise well perfused pink pulseless hand still remains controversial. The aim of this study was to ascertain an appropriate therapeutic approach in children with supracondylar humeral fracture and a pink pulseless hand. Objective To provide a reasonable time of vascular exploration surgery for cases of pink pulseless hand following supracondylar fracture of the humerus. Methods We retrospectively reviewed medical records for cases of children under 16 years old presenting to Hospital for Traumatology and Orthopaedics with Supracondylar fractures of the humerus and pulseless hand between 1st Jan 2016 and 30th Jun 2021. Information about clinical characteristics imaging treatment process and results of follow- up was recorded. Analyzing the value of clinical signs and imaging in suggesting arterial injuries in vascular repair .
