This technique has been refined and improved for over 100 years aiming to restore hearing level and reduce com- plications. Development within the fields of science and technology including modern equip- ment have allowed new approaches to the surgery Microscopic Endoscopic Microdrilling Laser and Robotic techniques have all been used to carry out stapedectomys. Stapes prosthesis have seen many improvements in shape design and materials significantly improving surgical outcomes. In Vietnam Stapes surgery has a long history of successful implementation. Since the start of Otolaryngology field establishment this technique has been studied and applied. Over the time it has been rapidly improving and achieving many positive results for patients significantly contributing to the field of Otology and general ENT. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the stapes surgical techniques and currently applied in Vietnam.
